I got the idea too that perhaps Noah had a feeling or hint that this girl with the baby was future Claire.

So now that Hiro's mom didn't give baby Claire the light, Claire doesn't have her powers right?

How did arthur go to the past?

You saw the episode where he erased Hiro's memory, right? I believe he absorbed Hiro's power then too.

I don't think he knew anything about Claire, just that it was a secretive ordeal and an unknown girl was there that he caught in some lies.
The light does not equal powers, it's just the last piece of the formula.

Ah right. Wasn't sure if it was from that or when he erased Hiro's memory. If he did get them from Peter, wouldn't he come back to life shortly after being shot and after the Haitian leaves (since Peter also has Claire's ability)? You know, kind of like how Claire came back to life shortly after the eclipse ended.

So what the hell is going to happen with powerless hiro and peter. And will this be the new version of the scar peter has?

Wonder how the sylar story is going to develop now that he is back to being the dominant kickass again.

Argh damn dvr cut off again. Last thing I saw was the marine standing up looking at the three. Anything after that?

Same here! I saw the marine stand up after breaking out of the wrist restraints, then that was it...

No. Not with a bullet in the head. Think back to season 1 - with an "obstruction" in the head, Claire was "dead" until it was removed, as was Peter with the glass shard in his head when he met up with Sylar.

Now take the bullet out of Papa, then he might come back to life...

And what was the point of Claire not wanting to have the light and Hiro wanting it. I didn't get that at all.

The only thing I can think of is that Arthur knew Claire had the catalyst, so giving it to Hiro meant that he wouldn't know who had it. Expose himself trying to get it from Claire in the Present and get blindsided by Hiro?

Don't be too sure of that. Papa Patrelli's healing came from the 500-something year old British guy. Just before Peter said "it ends here", those same orange strands of light that happens when Patrelli steals a power came out of his body. His only "natural" power was the power-stealing.

I fyou pulled the bullet out, I bet he'd still be dead. About time, too.

Why would the soldier's power have to be super strength? Why couldn't it be to turn things into gold, or puddles, or tell when people are lying?

I get the impression that the power you get from it isn't something they know how to control and that it's a matter of the power you get reflects what is in your heart. The soldier said something to Nathan along the lines of "If only I was stronger... blah blah"...

Suresh may be turning into some lizard freak because he's always been a bit of a snake to the other characters. He wanted powers for personal gain and maybe that is what is being reflected in him.

The preview for next week dispels this, but I think we're pretty well set up to see Peter and Hiro take injections of the powers serum given to that one Marine. That'd pop them right back into action.

I think watching Babylon 5 has taught me that time travel in a television show has to be very conservatively done - else anything can just be undone later and everything gets overly complicated.

Best episode this season, I think. Sylar is full-on villain mode is just too much fun.

Suresh's first serum didn't work right, remember? It killed every other subject he tested on. I don't know why it didn't kill him, though.

I was expecting a 40ish year old Hiro to come help Matt, Ando and Daphne in the present day.

He kind of did. Right as they were talking about him as it faded "back to the future" from a comic of him hanging on the pole you see a shadow walk across the foreground with what appears to be a samuri sword in a scabbard on its back. It was quick, but my wife saw it too so I don't think we both imagined it.

Yeah, I saw the character go by too, but I didn't notice if he had sword or not.

Babylon 5 did a very good job of handling it. Especially the episodes where Babylon 4 re-appeared. When the last scene came and Sinclair turned out to be Valen, I was mightily impressed.

I'm guessing you've never seen a bike messenger before. They are at the messenger depot, and that was a bike messenger with something on his back (a document tube, pack, strap, etc.). That would have been a really short samurai sword too. 🙂

Sad and touching when Hiro got to see his mother again.

Edit:
Was that marine they gave powers to, Kyle from the 4400?

Very.

Elevator muzak scene was COMPLETE lolz, Papa Petrelli in the past fucked everything. Also, please don't give Ando powers; it seems like every time a bright character gets powers they lose 100 IQ points, give or take a few. See sheik124's postulate on Peter's existence:

Peter with no powers is smart. It's either powers, intelligence, or being alive; he can only have 2 of the above at any given time.

Recent dead Claire was dead from a torso GSW, powers come back, bodily wounds heal. Season 1 dead Claire died from a branch in the head. Shit in your brains = no healing.

Mine, too. I watched the end online just to see. He tears the chair out of the ground (it's bolted down), then hurls it through the glass and it gets embedded into the concrete wall. Then he answers the question with something like "I feel .. good" and a sinister look.

OK, I just rewatched the episode where he stole Peter's powers and it was a white light. You're right, that was the catalyst.

Well, I don't think anybody involved is going to remove the bullet anyway.
