Like I said in my first post, the intent of placing Nathan in that scene was none other than foreshadowing that he was, in fact, ALIVE. Since nobody knew for sure the fate of Nathan (Adrian Pasdar himself would not comment on if he was in Season 2), and it's common in a story, and in a screenplay no less, to use foreshadowing.

I don't think you could say that "you know this 100% is true" unless you were a writer on the show. It MIGHT be feasible that Nathan is working with (whoever) and Nathan planted one picture while the other person planted another. This probably isn't true, but you don't KNOW for sure.

I think this thread is great and makes me question a few things more, but don't act like you know things for a fact. They might be true/might be the most plausible explanations, doesn't guarantee that you're right.

All good points... but you're assuming I don't already know what happens. :D

Edit: And fine, before someone gets all bitchy at me (inevitably), I really do find out what happens to a select few sci-fi shows a few episodes in advance. So sue me.

OR
B) While it was sitting on Nakamura's desk for who knows how long, somebody was able to walk in undetected and simply put the photo in the paper.

Also.... Mama Petrelli was WITH Nathan when she left the apartment to find her picture out in the hallway. He must be a really good magician, then.
Nathan entered the apartment before his mom left. He could have planted the photo outside before he entered the apartment. He needn't be a magician to do so.

Nathan could have planted both. That said it seems like the writers have given us a red herring.

Why did they repeatedly call it a "birdy thing" when playing Badminton? Are they trying to make Claire look stoopid?

HRG guy told her to not stand out at all. Presumably, she decided to take on the "dumb blond" persona.

get a better picture host.

If it is Nathan, he could of easily put the picture of his mom in the hallway when he came to visit her. He already thinks she is evil.

I am not sure who killed 'Sulu' though. They tried to make it look like Slyar, but Peter also wore a hoody in scenes previously. They purposely hid the identity of the person for a reason...most of the viewers knew Slyar lived.

Also Claire is playing stupid she is trying to be a typical idiot teenager. I don't think she'll be able to keep up with that though.

Erm... I found those pictures online? They're not mine.

Peter was chained up halfway across the world, and he has amnesia. Why would he have a motive? And we're supposed to be thinking that it's one of the remaining 9 people who started this whole mess (Linderman, Papa Petrelli, Mama Petrelli, Nakamura, Devereaux, etc). Before Nakamura took a dive off the building he said something like "I didn't expect it was you" or "Of all the people I didn't expect you" meaning he obviously knew them, but I think by the way he worded it we were meant to realize it was one of the "9" that Nakamura and Mama Petrelli had been talking about.

It wouldn't be hard. The way they hyped up a villain that is supposed to be worse than Sylar towards the end of season 1, and hints that Sylar has had fantasies of wanting to be a hero (the fact that he only harms those who he feels are unworthy of power they possess doesn't hurt his chances of helping out ordinary humans) - as twisted as he is - he could very well end up helping out the heroes in a "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" sort of way.

I definitely don't think we've seen the last of Linderman. There was too much hype building him up, plus he has healing power.

Edit: I reallllllyyy dislike the Kensei storyline so far... Why couldn't they get a REAL British guy that was fluent in Japanese?

lol

Not to mention that Hiro and Kensei's Japanese and English dilaects should have a 400 year gap between them, yet they communicate between themselves and others perfectly.

But I just hate the storyline because it seems like pointless filler. The plot is paper thin and the characters involved are shallow and one-dimensional.

Wow, I never got that impression at all

Nathan's mom and "Sulu" both said he was dead. His healing power is different than Claire's so it's doubtful he healed himself whereas Claire can. "Sulu" has a better chance of surviving that bloody landing than Linderman returning.
