I sat in these chairs when I was a CSR at Voicestream, really comfortable. Had to be careful not to fall asleep during any downtime 😉

LOL! good one JeffSpicoli..

More than likely i'll be picking one of those bad boys up(no a/c at the apartment, you can see the need) , but prolly at a higher price, will check in the next few weeks around town. (no Costco's in WI)

But the pad is a must have, with the chair..😉

And a small side note, a friend of mine has a co-worker that used to code for EA and Westwood, and EA, not sure of Westwood, but both companies are very very Aeron friendly...

<< My aunt and uncle and several other relatives of mine work for Herman Miller, so they have the chair. It's really, really nice. Of course, I can get it for ~$150 from them...😀 >>

Hook us fellow anandtechers up man...We will make you a HOT DEALS GOD! $200 each you can sell it to all of us! and pocket a few grand easily!

I'm sure they limit the employees to like 3 maxx. Otherwise, the employees would be buying them by the truckload and selling them for profts, undercutting herman miller.

I used one of these chairs for about a year and a half at my old office. It was pretty nice but this is not, at least in my opinion, the Holy Grail of office furniture - they are quite adjustable and reasonably supportive but not the most comfortable chairs in the world. I am not trying to thread-poop at all - this is a bona fide Hot Deal, but I feel compelled to play devil's advocate with all of the Aeron boosters here!

Can you recommend something better?

The Steelcase chairs seem nice. I am no expert on this stuff, though; I know if I were spending over $500 on a task chair (which I am not), I would extensively test-drive them prior to buying, and YMMV in terms of what you like.
