That is a very nice chair but $600 isn't nice. =b

If you are average size and weight, this is a great chair.

I have the C size - but I am 6'5" and pretty big.

This is the most comfortable chair I have ever used - the best part is that the mesh lets your body breathe so you dont get all sweaty after hours of geekin on the PC.

I paid $850 a couple years ago.

best work chair ever. We have them at my work. I'm actually sitting in one as we speak. I wish I had enough money to buy one for home, but I get them at work, so it's good enough.

AHHH, the DotCom chairs(in Homer Simpson's voice)

I once sat in that chair during a job interview for a commision junction(a startup in santa barbara). They are still alive, but changed their business strategy several times since then. Im glad I didnt get a job with them.

i would love to figure out a way to "requisition" a chair from my workplace -- would be perfect for home 🙂

My aunt and uncle and several other relatives of mine work for Herman Miller, so they have the chair. It's really, really nice. Of course, I can get it for ~$150 from them...😀

welcome to AT, sfaok, our new best friend. 😀

this thread would be a really hot deal if you could hook us up with those chairs for under $200. how about it? 😀

<< I bought my chair at Costco B&M. The Aeron for sale is the highly adjustable model, not the basic model. >>

Different story then, 'cuz that'd be at least $200 off regular price off a "Highly Adjustable" Aeron.

These are great chairs. I bought one for home use and my new job they have them also. 599 for the fully adjustable ones are great. they are selling for like 525-550 PLUS shipping on ebay for used ones.

if any of ya'll are in houston and want one, I know a place selling them for $500 used. email/pm me and I dig up the place. thanks.

<< Who has 150 aerons and how can i get one? And why is Herman Miller making so much profit per chair..... >>

Uh, carbon fiber is not cheap and they are warranteed for 10 years.

This chair is like no other - I used to have pain from sitting in cheapo chairs for hours - now I can sit in my Aeron all day and feel great - you cant put a price on that.

They ordered 138 of the Aeron's at my work. I went out and talked to the guy at the dock and he showed me the paperwork that came in with them. The company paid $437 a piece for them.

I called the telephone number on the paperwork and told them I was an employee of the company and asked if I could get a chair at that same price. They said no problem. They ordered it and I picked it up a month later. Same price.

<< I've seen the same Highly Adjustable Aeron at Sam's for $599 as well. This is a very nice chair. >>

Sam's carries Aeron's too? Sweet, I've only seen the Equa 2(what I have at work) there, and it wasn't that great of a deal unless you want plain ol' black fabric/base/arms.

<< wow, $600 for a chair. that's a lotta dough for a chair... I'd like to try one out though to see if it would be worth it. >>

got one at home - sitting in it as i type this -

yes it is worth every penny
you will think so too once you sit in it.
your rear end will never get sweaty again, and you can pass wind right through the seat bottom without any resistance!
