It would be far more cool to have President Max Payne. :)
LOL

"13 years? Or 13 beers? Who can say? What I'll say is this - man's gotta get laid.." - Herman Cain
LMAO!

If I had to go home and face my wife after she found out from the television news that for thirteen years I had been contacting and financially supporting a woman that she doesn't know even exists, my last concern would be whether or not to continue my Presidential campaign. Might as well stop off and fuck her on the way home, 'cause you ain't never gonna convince Momma you didn't. And if his wife cared enough about being First Lady to overlook this, she'd be out there campaigning with him.

If his accuser has any convincing evidence she'd best sell her story quickly, 'cause I believe Herman is about to become yesterday's news.

MEN for HERMAN CAIN

"Men For Cain" is a national online high-five of men dedicated to giving props to the ultimate ladies' man Herman Cain, our next President of the United States. Mr. Cain, beyond any other candidate with exception of maybe Newt, has done more to get into women's pants throughout his lifetime, defending and promoting the negative issues associated with quality PDA, T&A and serious office groping. Forget the 9-9-9 plan, let’s talk about the 6-9 plan. When the liberal lame-stream media calls his skill with the ladies "exploits," Mr. Cain calls them conquests. As the nation is struggling to find work, Mr. Cain has found countless jobs for women, right there in his pants. And the best part, his wife has no idea. His erection will win this election for GOP. Join us and voice your support to Herman Cain, our next Philander in Chief.

I dunno, President Hawking sounds pretty cool.

I'd like to see President Charles Payne. He's self-made, Hawking-smart, knows economics inside and out, and freakin' huge. It would be like Schwarzkopf. Imagine him striding over to the President of Iran. Holy crap, that guy's big! Screw concessions, I'm telling him he can have his stupid hikers back before he kicks my ass."

I don't think physical size matters much. Reagan was a fossil when he took office, and based on his campaign saying "we will bring the hostages home" among other things, the Iranians let them go. There were other factors, but the fear that Reagan WOULD follow through likely held a large part. They knew Reagan would move somehow to bring them home, and he wouldn't let it stop with a failed attempt/helicopters crashing in the desert.

You need to be convincing more than imposing. Someone like Obama, Carter, perhaps Clinton to a degree, probably Ron Paul as well...people don't believe they'd follow through. Someone like Gingrich is likely someone who would follow through - at the very least in a military form. Example being Gingrich has said he'd send black ops in to shut down Iran's nuclear program. Blow the facilities, take out the scientists. I think he would do it. And he'd do it with that crazy grin on his face, too.

That's a complete and total fabrication and an integral part of the Reagan myth. The fledglingn Iranian government absolutely and totally hated Jimmy Carter, viewing him as the epitomy of evil Ameicanism. Carter ramped up their hatred by failing in the hostage rescue mission. A primary goal of the Iranians was to bring Carter down, to show their power by reshaping USA's government. Reagan differed in any substantial way from Carter during the campaign as to how he would deal with the hostage crisis (until Newt and the GOP of the 90's it was a long standing tradition in the US that politics "stopped at the water's edge"). Most significantly the hostages were freed by the Iranian government just minutes after Reagan was inagurated, based upon an agreement signed January 19th-during the waning days of the Carter Administration.

Cliff's: the hostage crisis had accomplished all its goals for the Iranian government, their release (and especially it's timing) was done to snub Carter, not because of any Reagan had done or threatened to do.

Think about it, Bush was not very popular anywhere...but even Libya started playing nice when he was in office. Why? Well, their dictator himself said something along the lines of "Bush is invading nations that are Islamic, are not on good terms with the UN, are accused of aiding terrorists, and are accused of WMD. Libya fits all those items. I believe he is serious with his threats, so I will start complying about my nuclear program."

Libya provided a lot of information which showed both Pakistan and North Korea were aiding them in their quest to build nuclear weapons.

Nations run by bullies do not respond to people who scrape and grovel on the world stage...
