Here's the build

Ditch the Rosewill PSU.
Are you going to be using 64bit OS? If not, you can't use 4GB RAM.
Also, if you're going to overclock, I'd get different RAM.
Case is really up to you but the Antec Sonata II is around $50 after rebates and comes with a 450w PSU.

Yeah actually after looking at the ending cost I decided to bump it down to 2gb until I do make the 64 bit vista jump. I'm still stuck on XP and not planning on the upgrade for a little bit. I have the Sonata II right now as a case and it's been treating me good, so I guess it can't hurt to get another one. My only complaint about it is the air flow. There's ONE fan on it, this thing needs an intake!

Which ram would you recommend for some good overclocking? A guy in another post recommended G.SKIL. I've been out too long and never even heard of half these brands. What happened to the good old crucial, corsair, kingston, and ocz days?

Get the best deal you can on any of these: Gskill, OCZ, Corsair, Crucial, TeamGroup, probably forgot a couple. You should be ok with some decent PC6400. Check some deal sites or the Hot deals section. There are DDR2 deals almost everyday. Decent 2GB set shouldn't be over $100.
You can put an intake fan on the drive cage on the Sonata II 🙂 Not as good as in the front but it does pull in air.

Either of these should work 🙂

stogez, did you read the reviews on the geil for 50.99 after mail-in rebate? That memory sucks because it wouldn't let you use more than 2gb at a time...hmmm...wonder if that guy was using 32 bit os...

It was just an example of current deals. Anyway, Newegg is the worst place for reviews. Most people on there who leave reviews are morons just like the idiot who listed his comp seeing only 3.25GB in Win XP 32bit

why did you pick the roswill 601 case? i was originally looking at it decided on the 604. I like the top buttons/adapters because it will be under my desk. It has 2 fans plus the Zalman 9700 should keep my q6600 chilly. I hope!

there goes another $6 saved

I liked it for the all black design, but really, the 604 would go perfect because my mouse is black and silver
