Ok, I upgraded to Win2k from Windows 98 and I am having a couple of problems. I am running a GeForce2 MX with the latest drivers from NVIDIA's website (6.5 i believe) and DirectX 8:
In Half-Life (Counter-Strike), I get this lag, not moving, but looking (I move the mouse and 1 second later it moves on the screen). It appears that is is happening when and a bit after I move up or down ladders. This did not happen in Windows 98 but now does in Win2k.
I seem to be getting "sick" (like carsick!) when i play Counter-strike for a while! Again, this is happening in Windows 2000 only.
How exactly do I find out if I have the 60Hz refresh rate problem? What is it? Is there some way I can fix it (It may have something to do with me getting sick).
Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks a lot,
Ben
