That's fine. I can't stand the dash or the rims on your year TA's...so 😛.

Oh, and we won't even get into the fact you have a 305....the V8 that thinks it's a V6... 😛

Well the rims look much better with the origional raised white letter tires, but those were free. And as far as the engine goes... its not a 350, but it sure aint a v6. and whats wrong with the dash??? I like it. After this engine gets about 150k on it ill get a crate 350 or my friends dad has a used LT1 he pulled from a 92 vette. Meh...

Never had the appeal growing up always near public transportation lines. (Papenburg, Germany) then moved to NYC. Now work (and live) on a cruise ship so no traffic problems.

Some of the islands we go to there is no way I would want to drive. A motorscooter would be nice though and much more practical than a car. 🙂

Well, the 305 was a well known dog. the 350's were the only ones that could remotely keep up with the 302's in the foxbody stangs. The 305 only puts out like 165hp IIRC...

As for the dash, it's just personal taste I guess, but I've always hated that giant dash in all the firebird/TA/camaros.

Kudus for dropping the white walls though...

As for the dash, it's just personal taste I guess, but I've always hated that giant dash in all the firebird/TA/camaros.

Mines an 86. Its 165HP. The trans is a rebuild, i just got it a month and a half ago. it runs good.

Wow, some nice cars in this thread. Although I no longer own it I thought I would post a pic of my former stang...

The 85 Mustang I used to own. Was a 4 cylinder car that I bought for $300, replaced motor, transmission, and rear end with

306 H.O. V8(89 302 H.O. bored .030) (holley 650 dbl pumper, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Mac full length headers, Taylor Wires, B303 cam, Ford Motorsport underdrive pulleys, Flowmaster mufflers)
T-5 5 speed tranny
8.8" rear with 4.10 gears

Car ran a best of 12.74@105 MPH with stock untouched heads, no power adders and Mickey Thompson Sportsman pro tires

I miss that car (sold it about 2 years ago)
