i personally have never done it and never thought to.

Google is dangerous. Seriously, I tried it on my roommates' names and I found things on them 5-6 years old that date back to their early high school years. All the stuff that's out there is kinda scary sometimes.

heh, I have done it to check up on old friends.

I remember when Google indexed USENET. I found my very first post! It was a question about a car...VW Golf GTi (Dec 1996)(replacement for the Oldmobubble at the time).

I used to for the longest time, then I just went ahead and got a classmates' membership. I did manage to find my ex-wife's married name after all these years. I had forgotten it and need it for a document.
