Let's say your computer is heating up a little more than usual. You think it might be a dust build-up on the heatsink and fan on your cpu. You grab the compressed air and give it a healthy shot of air only to have your 90cfm heatsink fan blow it right into your eyes.

This is the first time where I wished I had glasses. :(

I remember one day doing tech support at my H.S. some idiot was trying to fix a jammed floppy drive (the metal piece was stuck, but the disk itself was removed already). After asking me to take a look at it, he proceeds to demonstrate the problem and sure enough the spring would had gone straight into my eye if I hadn't blinked that second.

Also had an friend convinced that a floppy power connector should be shorting some motherboard pins. The cracking and the smoke changed his mind very quickly. (I knew enough to think it was a bad idea, but didn't have the experience to be certain.) The mobo survived though.

Accidents do happen in the workplace, I suppose. I can just image a techies wearing helmets and riding the short bus. :D
