Hah just checked the bios version and it was over a year old. Just installed the new bios version. Lets see how that works. Kinda sucks running tests are not being conclusive.

Although one of my dvd drives hasnt been functioning too properly lately. gonna pull it out tomorrow and see if that may be the culprit. I am so sick of testing ram though.

I guess i will test the ram one by one again to see if anything changes with new bios.

Rats. It worked well for me.
So, have you checked the HD? Maybe with Seatools, or something similar? What about fragmentation? Have you defraged recently?

Ok, and here goes an odd but reasonable question: are you by any chance running SuperAntiSpyware on a 64-bit Windows7? That's a well known BSOD combination.

nope running 32bit windows 7. Checked the hard drive useing the windows tool to scan it.

Forgot to disconnect my dvd rom drive this morning. it was acting up.

hard drive defrags once a week.

Wish i had a need to upgrade my computer 🙂
