I have a document that is 12 pages long. the first page is the title page and the second page is the table of contents which references the rest of the pages (3 to 12). I enable page numbering . title page(first page) doesnot have a page number shown by default

I want to hide the page number on the second page(TOC) and still maintain the outlined references to other pages. Only pages 3 to 12 must show a centered page number.

i cannot seperate any pages, the document must be 12 pages.

Any suggestions/workarounds

thnks

Just print the first two pages w/o numbers and then print the whole thing with numbers on all pages and then just switch the pages w/o the numbers.

Another thing that works.

Write the title page. Instead of "Insert - break - page break", do a "insert -break - section break - next page"
On the second page, go into the footer, center alignment, do an "insert - page numbers", uncheck "show number on first page", and click on format as well and say start at: 2

That should work as well. A little bit more complicated, but you only have to do it once.
