Just curious about Staples PM, doesn't that Staples have to add 2nd day shipping to the price?

The cheapest place you find on Pricegrabber doesn't mean the best solution to PM since some of those places that is on the top cheapest list have a bloody shipping charge.........especially 2nd day.

just a thought.

so with the Palm Vx PM.....final cost should come close to $400 (with shipping added and tax applied)

hmmmm~ I think you are right, but if you look at the pricegragger I did, I already input my zipcode for best price search. Just do ground shipping it should not be that much for something that small.

ETLA,
yeah....gotta be careful with that though. some of those vendors just charge you real bad if you wanna jump from Ground to 2nd day.

btw, have you ever PM with Onvia? How does Staples come up with the cost of 2nd day shipping since Onvia only ship Ground and it's free?

Staples likes to add the cost of next day air shipping to any PMs. I live more than 30 miles away from a Staples, so they send everything to me via UPS ground. I just tell them that and they only add ground shipping to my PMs. I have PM'd with Onvia before. Your luck may vary though since some of the CSRs refuse to PM Onvia.

The cordless mouse is quite good for games, actually. It is just as responsive as the Logitech First Mouse+, which is PCGamer's choice, at any of price, of mice. Although it might intuitively seem that there would be a delay because of the RF transmission, remember that radio waves travel at the speed of light.

My cordless mouse does go through batteries about every 2 months, so using rechargeables is recommended.

Personally, I use the cordless mouse for "everyday" mouse use, and I keep a Mouseman Wheel hooked up via USB for gaming (I prefer the contouring and the 4 buttons). You can have a USB and serial/PS2 mouse hooked up simultaneously.

the cordless mouse is really nice, I actually took it with me onetime by accident cuz I was playing game and then my friend call me to go eat and I was holding it so much I forgot and I just grabbed it and took it with me to the restaurant. It's nice to have cordless....you can sit on the toilet and type an email..j/k:p

Alas, the cordless mouse is Logitech's "basic" model, not the nicer Mouseman with the extra thumb button on the side. Staples has that one too(link), but it's not the greatest deal at nearly 60 bucks.

I already have the cordless keyboard and it rocks.

I did a PM with Onvia last week. I just directed the CSR to Onvia's homepage where it says plain as day "Free Shipping". Not a problem - free shipping from Staples, too! (Your milage may vary.)

I think I may be missing something here ... the way I see this is that you have to buy this mouse WITH THE KEYBOARD to get the $20 rebate, right ?

Which means you pay :

$59.99 for the Logitech Keyboard
+ $39.99 for the Logitech Cordless Mouse
+ $14.98 for the clock
- $20 off $50 Staples coupon
- $20 for the Mouse Rebate
-----------------------------------------
A total of $74.96 + Tax for the Keyboard, Mouse and Clock

Is this right or am I missing something here ? If this is true, this isn't so much of a hot deal for me since I am ONLY interested in the mouse but not the keyboard.

Anyone care to explain ? I sure hope I have made a mistake somewhere ...

No need to add that Clock in the order.
from what I read, $20 rebate applied to the purchase of both cordless keyboard and mouse.

$59.99 keyboard
$39.99 mouse
add some rubber band to get over $100
$30- off $100 coupon

$70 plus tax
$20- rebate

final price around $50 something.

question: does the logitech rebate consider the pre- or post-staples coupon? if it considers your purchasing price of $99, then you get $20 off from logitech. but if they consider the final price after the $20 off staples coupon, then you only get $10 from logitech. what do you think?

I think it still works, the coupon code for $20 off is from STaples not from Logitech..
