Skimmed the list, all seem like good ideas and/or just paying more attention to existing laws.

Looks like much about nothing. Except him wanting to bypass HIPPA.

The Senate has spoken. The states say NOBAMA!

This is classic.
8. Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission).

What is the first thing you do with a new gun that of course has the mandated chamber lock? Throw away the cable and lock, nobody uses them.

Pretty much. Mine are in a box somewhere in case I need to transport them over state lines. Beyond that they're worthless.

What the christ?

16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.

It's his back door confiscation. Take any mental health medicine and you can't own guns. Doc says they're concerned. Take your guns.

Remember his stance and words when he was Chicago politician.

This was a big deal last year, some doctor got in trouble for asking patients about whether they owned a gun. He claimed there was medical significance. Shit blew up in his face. :p

One of the legal arguments was that Obamacare prohibited such questions.
