This is a pretty cool looking card and it's the cheapest I've found for the 9800 PRO with 256-bit memory. It can be found here. Shipping was $6.41 for me with UPS ground. It includes blue LED light on HSF and ramsinks.

Hmm I wonder if sound got pulled as well. It wasn't mentioned but you can't seem to find their sound cards anywhere anymore. Which is a shame because I love my fortissimo.

I wouldn't worry about the warrenty. Hercules makes exellent products, I still have my Geforce 1 card from them and have had no problems with it, even after 6+ years of constant use. Although unless you go to LAN parties I'm not sure why I'd want all the flash.

i read some reviews on this card and in 3DMARK 03 it benchmarked the same as an Orginal ATI built card, around 5300-5400. So their not any faster, just look nicer, lol...... PS bare card on Ebay is going for 190.00 or so shipped in Dutch auction of 4 bare cards.

It definitely looks faster than those other red (rather be dead) ho-hum no pizzaz cards out there. I'd gladly pay an extra $10 for the WOW affect.

Hey everyone, I just got this card off of Ebay and it's pretty sweet. One thing that is nice is the heatsink on the backside of the card. I wanted this card because it had the blue PCB and matches my blue motherboard perfectly... It will all look very good when I get a new case. Anyway, here's some performance stats from my setup:

AthlonXP Mobile 2500 @ 12 x 200 = 2.4GHz
1 Gig of PC3200 RAM
Shuttle AN35N Ultra Motherboard (Nforce 2 Ultra chipset)

I get 17579 in 3DMark2001SE
and 5653 in 3DMark2003

Nice find, because even if Fry's had one, you'd have to pay tax on it. This one's tax free. RAM heatsinks are nice, I wonder if they included DVI-CRT adapter too with it...

Good thing there's a heat sink on the back side, cause it doesn't look like there's much mass on the GPU. Does look sweet. I'd be currious to know how it o/c's, if anyone's played with it.

I know the retail cards came with a o/cin program with the card and i also read some reviews on it also and it seemed to o/c very well cause of the heatsinks with the program.

The retail version of the 9800 XT comes with the oc program in it. It does not come with the retail version of the 9800 Pro....
