Hercules Game Theatre is a bad card!!!

WEll at least I hope not but I can't get the latest Windows 2000 drivers to install (version 2.02). No matter what I do when I check under the properties section in device manager it always says version 5.12.1.4205............by the way this is a new system so no previous sound cards were installed...I hope the new drivers may sort out some of the bugs I have been having.....

so can anyone give me the steps to get the latest Windows 2000 drivers to instlal properly?

How about uninstalling the old drivers, rebooting, installing the new drivers, rebooting?

IT IS??? I've heard nothing but good things about this card, I did hear it has problems with Win2K though.
