Hercules Game Theater XP

Hey there,
I bought a GTXP a couple months ago. As you may know, it has this break-out box which features 2 USB ports and a Game port. First of all, the USB ports never worked. When I hook up a device, it connects and disconnects in about 3 second intervalls. Same with the Game port. When I plug in my Gravis Gamepad Pro, it connects, and after about 10 seconds, it tells me in "Game Controllers" that the gamepad is not properly connected. It's a Windows XP machine, and the other hardware, you can see in my rig. I'm wondering if anybody else has these problems.

For starters, you do know that GTXP has TWO things that connect to the back of your PC.
1) The cable for your sound card.
2) A USB Cable

If the USB cable is not connected to your PC, of course the Game Ports are not going to work.

Thank you, the USB cable from the GTXP is plugged into a port on ma motherboard.
