Herbarium mounting paper *attention nature-types*

Anybody heard of this before? My wife has a project due for her online Biology class that requires her to mount dried leaves onto Herbarium mounting paper. I've googled it and haven't really found any stores that carry it.

I don't think white printer paper is going to cut it for this project!

If I remember my plant biology classes right, a herbarium is usually a building where they store plant material. The material is usually stored in glass cases and mounted on heavy paper via pins or glue. I don't think the paper was called herbarium...

*edit*

Looked online, I was off a little bit. The herbarium is usually a stacked assortment with a strap holding the samples together. This site does mention the type of paper used.. don't know if helps.

Thanks for the tip Grey, that site does mention something about "rag" paper and "chemical wood pulp" paper. Time for me to google a little more.
