hmm....fried chicken anyone?
I'll take mine extra crispy....345,000 volts should suffice.

For some reason I don't think there'd be anything left of the chicken after that, let alone anything edible. :)

I find it ironic that many of you scream "Cruelty! Die, scum!" about this..

Yet we slaughter how many hundreds of thousands of chickens a day?

Oh, but that's okay because you make money doing that. :p

Now, don't get me wrong.. what they did was indeed cruel, I'd just like to shine another light on it.

That's what I was thinking. But that's not the cruel part. Setting a chicken afloat is nothing compared to the way those poor chickens live.

Yeah, I know..

It's the same way with any of the other meats, too. It's rather disgusting. I guess that's how it "has" to be when you warehouse animals, it's all about the buck.

That's why we buy local organic meat. :)

What is wrong with some of you tards.

You have to eat, it's a completely unrelated circumstance where an idiot cruelly floats an animal just for kicks.

What a load of jackasses. See me sig for in the face.

Yea, I don't choose to be a vegetarian. So pass me the chicken leg.

Take you and me and throw us in the middle of the wilderness. You eat your berries while I hunt for game.

Let's see how long you hold out not eating meat.

I never said I was a vegetarian. I love meat :D

I'm just kind of annoyed to see such strong reactions when they just played with the chicken a little :p

I am not trying to be devils advocate. I'm just saying it's extremely hypocritical to condemn others for playing with the chicken a little. Personally I don't see how that's worse than eating chicken.

But whatever, I see it's impossible to have a civilized conversation with you.

I concur.

I wasn't advocating what they did to the chicken. I'm agreeing that it was cruel and unusual.

I was just shining another light on it. Many, if not most, would be absolutely disgusted by the meat industry, and rightfully so. It is quite disgusting.

You have me wrong, it is you that cannot hold a logical conversation.

I do however see that there is most definitely something wrong with you. I arrive at this conclusion since you cannot differentiate between animals kept for food stock for human consumption and a person cruelly treating an animal for just their own kicks.

agreed. i don't see this being that cruel, compared to what they do to them on farms (?) or whatever. some people torture animals for amusement, some do it for profit. which is worse?

The point isn't that the animals are kept for food stock, it is the condition they are kept in. The chickens' cages are barely big enough for them to fit in. Their skin rubs against the galvanized wire nearly their whole lives, creating sores and lesions. They're stacked from the floor to the ceiling, allowing their droppings to fall on them.

I guess that's just what has to be done to feed such a large society, though. Shrug. I was just pointing out that it is kinda ironic.

I completely understand that either:

Dighn believes what he is saying no matter how stupid it is.

or

He's just trolling.

I'm starting to lean on the latter. Not that it really matters.

Besides, you know what they say about arguing on the internet.........
