Hemlock Grove - New Netflix Original Series

Sorry, but after suffering through season 2 of True Blood, I don't think that I could stand another TV show with werewolves in it 🙂
 
The other Netflix originals were good, Lillyhammer and House of Cards.
Hopefully this will be too because not much else is worth watching right now.
 
House of Cards....my final summation is that the show basically pissed me off. It went too far into the realm of absurdity for me to honestly take it seriously.

I'll give the new one a shot. I got maybe 4 episodes into Lilyhammer before I stopped watching. Van Zant just doesn't have the charisma for a lead role, I think.
 
Someone gave Eli Roth a TV show?

He's really going to write himself into a corner when all of the cardboard characters die violently.

It's a TV show. If it was true to life it wouldn't be a TV show. That said, the only thing I had issue with is how quickly the Chief of Staff, Linda, turned into Frank's personal assistant//spy. Yeah, Frank helped her out with that one thing, but still, you gotta think that her loyalty to the POTUS wouldn't so quickly and wholly flip like that.
 
thoughts? Just started watching, can't decide if I like it yet or not. I like shows with dark creepy vibes...the gypsy guy though is an abominable actor. Possibly one of the worst 5 I've seen in a tv show
 
We just started watching it last night .... reminds me of a cross between Grimm and Psychoville. Like it so far. Has the most original Wearwolf transformation I've ever seen. (and it's not really about werewolfs exactly).
 
I watched the pilot and wasn't that impressed. I find myself not giving a fuck about characters that are in high school..
 
episode 1 plot:

A teenager is murdered in the woods of Hemlock Grove. Evidence points to a boner attack but suspicions soon fall on Peter, the newly arrived gypsy.

Lulz.
