Im so jazzed, just picked up my spanking new 2009 Dodge Ram Quad Cab with a HEMI, these trucks are killer!

Now its time to install a new exhaust system and cold air intake that will push me well about 400 ponies, stock is 390.

Whats the big deal about a hemi. it's just the shape of the combustion chamber right? Could'nt a lot of other cars/trucks have this but just cant market it as "HEMI" ?

I was just looking at used trucks. There are tons of Dodges, lots of Fords and some Chevys.

I actually feel bad for the OP. He's excited about his purchase but apprently didn't do any homework on the purchase.

IIRC (I'm not a car buff), aren't there better geometries that have been developed since the advent of CAD?

See the last section. Apparently, "HEMI" is just another trade name, like "Type-R"
