Well, I'm probbably the 'feel-good' person you're referring to.. however, there are limits, like I've always said. If a kid commits a crime and nobody gets seriously injured, maybe only threatened or something? Well then yeah, I think he should have a shot at some rehabilitation. If a kid does something stupid like steals a car, runs from the cops, gets in an accident and kills somebody? Yeah, I think they should have a chance at rehabilitation. If a kid brutally murders someone with a hatchet just to steal $500 off them so they can go and get high? No friggin way do they deserve rehabilitation. The kid deserves to be thrown in jail to be anally rendered, over and over again, until they die of AIDS or get shanked.

The guy you're referring to supposedly raped the girl's best friend, so she got the victim's best friend (and worst enemy -- they had a master/slave type friendship) and a bunch of other people to gang up on him and kill him. I don't see why I should feel distraught over something that happens every day in Iraq and similar countries. Over there, people experiment on you with hooks then let you bleed to death as they clean up. By saying that I wouldn't feel saddened if my friend died would be fallacious; however, I do not know this person and I can only sigh and continue on to live when I hear stuff like this.
