I know some body is in my computer. i just have to figure out the way of displaying all the running programs on my computer.
task manager only shows some of them.
any helpppppppp

huh? what do you mean some body is in your computer??

You mean when you are on internet? Well most virus scanner should pick up any trojans on your machine. Or download a copy of ZoneAlarm and that would monitor your net connection and stop and dodgy programs from accessing the net.

Windows 95 or 98? Grab the kernel toys and use wintop.

Win2K? You should be able to see everything from the task manager there.

what I mean is my computer awfully slows down and I usually have pop-upo windows when I open IE.
so I think I have programs running on my computer that I cannot see with task manager. I know this happens a lot.
I even wrote a program that task manager doesnt show.
but how can a see the list of the programs that are running on my system?

What OS are you running, it could be loads of nasty services running that need turning off.

Have you tried the most basic ctrl-alt-del ????
if so then try msconfig!!!
