Helping plan a bachelors party for my friend

I'm not in charge of panning it, but the guy who is planning it asked me for help since he has no idea what to do. This is the first close friend of mine to get married, and I havent been to one before.

So far they were thinking of either going out to a casino with a group of people or finding some kind of location to use/rent and having a gambling night with a keg.

What has been the best for you guys? Any suggestions or ideas?

help!

EDIT:

Thanks for the ideas guys. The groom might be a little uncomfortable with strippers, so it may be better not to get them. I guess having it somewhere private is better than a casino, although getting a limo and going somewhere for part of the night isnt a bad idea.

I'm not a fan of the casino idea personally, since it spreads out the group too much, and IMO the bachelor party is about male bonding before the woman strips him of his rights. 😉

Hotel, strippers, keg and poker work well.

You could always go ride go carts, then go golfing, and then have a bbq at someone's house later. Why don't you just play poker at someone's house, instead of going to a casino. There are a lot of sites on line that help you set up a poker night at home.

Great idea! Hey, and why not invite your mom along too!
And, at the bbq... you can make smores! hot diggity dog!

Well you could always replace the smores with whores...😛 If that's more to your liking. 🙂

Don't skimp on the strippers, even if it means buying cheap beer.

😕

I wouldn't want strippers at mine. If you're getting married to a girl you love what the heck do you need them for.

Planning the party for your friend really depends on what your friend's into. He might not be someone who'll feel right about strippers/hookers, which I'm assuming is partially why none of that's included in the original post. If it's all about male bonding, you don't really need that anyway... just depends on what the guy about to get married is comfortable with. I know some guys who wouldn't even want to get liquored up.

So... more details. How whipped is the guy and what does he like to do? I went to a bachelor party where all they did was drink and go hangliding. That was pretty crazy. Normally those two activities don't mix very well, but it's really entertaining to watch.

I would say try paintball, but it depends on when the bachelor party is. Probably a bit too cold in MI yet. Half-frozen paintballs do hurt when they hit you in the forehead. 🙂

Also, have an ambulance on hand for all your out of shape friends who will collapse due to lack of oxygen.

The bachelor party is as much for your friends as it is for you. Quit being a bad friend.

If it's for them, let them have the strippers. If it's for me, they need to quit being bad friends, as I wouldn't want strippers at mine either.

I've never been a social person with a ton of friends. I doubt I'll even have a bachelor's party.

I can't believe Strippers are not even an option. That was the first thing I was hoping for when they planned my bachelor party. 3 girls and 2 kegs🙂 I'm waiting for my best friend to get married so I can do the same for him!!

1. Get a limo. Get a limo. Get a limo.

2. Do some fun stuff. Go-karts and such are fun.

3. Maybe hit a strip club or somethin for awhile. An option here is something like Hooters. They'll have the groom-to-be stand up on a chair and embarass him. Gives you the boob factor without the nekkid factor. Hit a couple different places to keep things fresh.

4. Head home or to a hotel or wherever, get a game of poker together and/or video games or somethin.
