OMG! We just did our Helpdesk stats for May:

# of calls
Me: 291
employee1: 74
employee2: 54
employee3: 40
employee4: 11
employee5: 10
employee6: 7
employee7: 5
employee8: 2
employee9: 1

Over the last few months, my calls have been increasing while everyone else's have been dropping. But May takes the cake. That's more calls than the other 9 people combined! Can you say job security, lol

Too bad my boss never views these stats though. He's clueless, and I'm at the bottom of the totem poll :(

You're going about it all wrong! You should do no more than 5 higher than the runner-up. Geez!

Let's just say some people are lazy at logging their calls while others are masters at manipulation.

And it looks like I'm the easist one to manipulate :(

No really. Someone I work with has turned this into an art. I swear this person uses tricks ranging from getting users to call back at a later time (when I'm on of course) to NOT learning new things on purpose. So when users call about said new problem, he can defer them to me.

But this is my favorite: He'll walk up to me all innocent-like when I'm working the desk and ask me to open some admin app to check something. Then he must use a combination of The Force and hypnotism because next thing I know, I'm working on his damn problem, and he's nowhere to be seen!!!

Does anyone else work with someone that has this "gift," or is this a rare breed of co-worker?
