the problem is i cant even boot into bios...i just sit at that stooopid monitor self test screen

ive tried:

reinstalling the agp caard
installing a diff agp card
clearing the cmos

what else can i do to find out what is wrong?

It looks like you have a no post/no video issue to solve.

[*]Disconnect all of the ide devices from the motherboard, and the remove the motherboard from the case. You can place it on an anti-static bag or cardboard box.
[*]Verify you have the cpu inserted into the socket properly
[*]Verify there is thermal interface material (grease or pad) on the heatsink or processor core.
[*]Verify that the heatsink is facing the right direction.
[*]Verify that the memory is inserted properly, reseat if necessary.
[*]Pull all expansion cards from the motherboard except the video card.
[*]Try to power the system up, if it's still dead...do you see LED lights or fans spinning? If so it's a possible bad motherboard.
[*]Swap with a known good powersupply.

thank you those are the tips i need to further identify my problem

by monitor self test i mean that screen where it has the three colors (red, green abd blue) and it said monitor is working but to check to see if th power cable is working

the reason i didnt htink it was a mobo issue and a vid card issue at first is because the lil red LED is sposed to light up when it is recieving power and it is lit up.

im going to try again now ill let u know wut happens after i try the stuff u jus mentioned
