I was playing with my Heatsinks. I have a 1.1TB and a 1.8XP. I wanted the XP cooler, so I removed both cpu's, cleaned them and put on different heatsink/fan combos. The 1.1 wouldnt boot, and after a few attempts, the motherboard caught fire. I then swapped cpus, and the 1.1 was not working. I almost went into a rage.

Any ideas what went wrong? I never have had problems like this before. and usually am very comfortable working around computer hardware.
 
I put a PAL 6035 with a sANYO dENKI FAN ONTO THE 1.8 and put the staock retail AMD fan heatsink combo on the 1.1TB. I used artic thermal paste. I used Ethyl Alcohol to clean the heatsinks and cpu cores.
