Guys, I don't know what the problem is.... CMOS is cleared, BIOS is cleared.... Created startdisk with new BIOS on it... boots to floppy as if there is no problem but the screen is still in hibernate mode and does not display anything....

Even if you don't know anything, maybe you can write words of encouragement, like "Hang in there PekinGenjin, this is just a learning experience and you'll come out of it ahead in knowledge in nothing else...." or something like that. Any resopnse would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.:confused:

Yes, I even took out my vidoe card and reseated it, not much else in there to seat proper. It was all working great, tryed to upgrade BIOS an now nothing shows on the monitor. Just blank screen, no "active monitor"light on the power button or anything.. Do you think that it is a bad flash chip?

I don't quite understand... Was it working, you flashed the BIOS, now nothing?

It sounds like your flash went bad. If that's the problem a new BIOS chip should fix it.
