HELP!!!!

ok heres my problem.

After playing a game for around 2 hours my system crashes and gives me a error saying cant detect 3d device (or something like that)

then i cant play games til i restart my computer. WHATS UP WITH that? ive tried 3 different drivers and ive tried windows xp and 2k

Any ideas? Thanks

btw i didnt have this problem with my epox 8k7a. now i have a epox 8kha+

maybe check the seating of the card, and something seems up with the drivers. Is it just one program that does this? Maybe its a know issue with the program.

3dmark did it to. why would it do it if it was seated wrong? if it was seated wrong it wouldnt work at in 3d games (and probably wouldnt work at all).

i decided to go out and buy a radoen 8500 (AGAIN!!!) and see if i have the problem. if i dont well good bye nvidia (AGAIN)

heres the error 3dmark 2001 gives me

3dmark could not initialize your 3d acceslerator
Try to downgrade your display settings.

Direct X error message:

P_D3DDDVERTEXBUFFER: VERTEX BUFFER->Lock: D3dERR_DRIVERINTERNALERROR

ive tried 2 OSes

and 3 drivers (21.88, 22.80 and 21.83

didnt solve it. any ideas? if not im goign to install radeon 8500 tomorrow

btw in 3dmark if i set it to software t&l it will work without restarting 3dmark. but hardware or pure hardware T&L wont work until i restart 3dmark. WTF?
