what do i have to do to install an "i-net pub on my wwwroot"??

i have no idea what this means...

The instructions are on the side of the box. Is this the ribbed kind with the reservoir end?

im thinking it has something to do with windows explorer...it's completely non-hardware oriented.

i have to set it up to test a remote site on my pc or something

Okay, I'm going to be a nice guy even though you posted this in the wrong forum.

An "i-net pub" is an internet publication, such as an html file. "WWWRoot" is the directory where they are placed when running an IIS server. Directory is InetPub/wwwroot. But, if you don't have IIS installed, the directory won't exist.

Are you trying to run a web server? If so, I definitely recommend Apache over IIS.
 

You need to install IIS.

If your not running server, don't even bother asking how.
