Hello Everyone! Could some one Please! Help! I have a Sager 9750 that has worked Great for me for the past 4 years, until recently my screen woul go black and shut down. So I checked the video card and found that 1 of the 4 posts that hold it down came off the board! It is a Nvidea 7800 Ge force go video card, so I ordered a new motherboard from Ztronics.com 200.00, Im pretty sure that I put everything back together right, Now it still wont come on My screen is Black and I have 3 flashing Green lights, then it shuts down! The Video card looks good but, I guess that dont mean much, and the fans dont even come on. Any Help would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! Thank,s! jackkent@comcast.net

You'll probably want to remove your e-mail from the post. You can make your e-mail visable in your profile if you desire, but there's no reason to invite spam.

edit: Have you tried to contact Sager? It seems like there's a good sized list of things could be going wrong here.

How certain are you the other parts are functioning correctly (hard disk, etc)? Have you double checked every single connection and wire to make sure they're seated properly?

Your talking about a ATI 9750 then say you have a 7800 video card ? Which one is it ?

Make sure you give it power and make sure it clicks into the PCI slot

Also check connection in back make sure its all way in also on the monitor.

Also does your light go orange on your monitor ? You said it goes green then shutsdown. Make sure all connections are right and proper.

Try a friends video card in your system and see what happens... gl also give more info on your system,,thanks.. gl

Ok, you're done for a few days. This misinformed posting has to stop. You were warned several times about this.

You may be new to the internet, so let me tell you some things. On an internet forum it is common courtesy to give the reader some idea about what you are asking help for in the title. That way you also attract people with some experience in the area you are having a problem.

One other thing to note is that you should also not post your e-mail on a forum. Because by now you might be subscribed to 1000 different porn sites.

Be safe.

Err... if it's a laptop and you don't know what you are doing, you really shouldn't be messing with it yourself...

I'd take it into a repairs centre to be looked at properly. Laptops are difficult beasts to try and solve over the net imo, especially if its not a well known brand like Dell/Sony, etc.

Just checked and you posted on notebook forums as well... Even PC Torque had a hard time decoding what you said too :)

Good luck anyway.
