HELP!!

So, I accidentally poured a big ass cup of sweet tea down the top fan hole of my p180. I immediately unplugged it and started pulling components, wiping them down with alchohol and drying them off. Well, the damn thing wont POST whatsoever. Problem is, I dont know anyone with a PCIe or s939 mobo to test components to see whats good and what isnt. IF THERE IS ANYONE IN THE COLORADO SPRINGS AREA WITH A S939 AND/OR PCIe MOBO, I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE THE OPPORTUNITY TO USE YOUR RIG TO TEST MY COMPONENTS. I really hope my brand new X1900GT isnt fried. Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you.

Probably should have let it dry out a few days before attempting to turn it back on... good luck

all you can do now is try to wipe everything down with very lil water and 90+% alcohol and reattach everything and try again...

Why on earth would you have a fan hole on top of a case? That's just asking for trouble.... sorry I can't help you out, I'm a few thousand km's away

Many cases come with an 80mm blow hole. His P180 did not come with a blow hole.
I use a very low cfm 80mm fan in mine...works great for drying sweaty ball caps

BuckWild, wash everything but the fans with simple green and a new paint brush.

Rinse very well in hot tap water, let drip dry, then blow it off with canned air, then set it

all in front of a box fan for 24 hours in a warm room. Blow it some more with canned air

to be sure all the moisture is gone.

Did any get inside the PSU??

What Galvanized said = TRUE. I just hope by powering it on and attempting to post hasn't burned anything.... You may be a lucky dude. Wsh it good and make sure it is dry before applying electricity...

the x1900gt is good, so i'm fairly sure its the mobo thats fried at this point. nothing else really got wet. wish conroe was here already, i'd just change platforms.
