so I woke up this morning and the left side of my sack itched. When I left the house this morning it was fine, but then when I got home this evening it started itching again in the same spot.

Is this crabs? How do I tell if I've got it? I have no idea how I would have contracted it if so, but thats the only thing I can think of?

Also, what is the best treatment for this malady?
 
More likely jock itch.
Get some athlete's foot/jock itch powder or cream at your local pharmacy

And stop rubbing up against those jocks

This is more than likely the case.

get some miconozole or tolnaftate, better yet, get the yeast infection cream in the womens section, works faster and better and it is the same stuff, antifungal

then, remember little timmy, that during the hot months, use constarch powder and make sure you give lots of breathing room

Maybe a reaction to new detergent? My wife switched laundry detergent once and I had similar symptoms. We finally figured out it was a reaction to the detergent that was used to wash my boxers
 
I know what you're going through....this is what you do:


1. shave half of your pubic hair off
2. light the remaining hair on fire
3. when the crabs jump out into the open, stab them with an ice pick
