Hey folks,

I hate to prevail upon you yet again but I need help.

A friend of mine is looking into purchasing a laptop. She wants a fully functional gaming laptop, and was looking into purchasing an Alienware system with a desktop P4...which I'm attempting to talk her out of. I need help in finding an alternative system to save her legs from frying!

She's put forward three primary requirements. The priorities are a powerful CPU and (mobile) GPU, and integrated bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The next priority is battery life. Beyond this things are negotiable.

Whether it's a P-M, Turion 64, or Athlon 64 it doesn't matter...just not a P4.

Thanks for your help.

What about this.

A complete gaming laptop for about $2000, a hell of alot cheaper than a alienware and it even comes with a 7800GTX!
You can even customize it to you likeing (just hit sales prices on the page).
It comes with a Pentium-M, and I agree, P4 not good for Laptop.
