I put in the Windows XP Pro CD and everything went well until it showed an agreement doc and it asked if I agreed. It said press F8 to agree so I did but nothing happened so I pressed F8 a few more times and still nothing, So I then pressed Esc to quit. So the computer rebooted and now it says at the bottom of the screen:

Verifying DMI pool data...........

And dosen't change, What do I do. Please help.

you will have to clear the cmos. look in your manual, and find the clear cmos jumper. set it for 15 seconds, replace it, and boot back up. hopefully it will work.

CMOS contains all the bootup info. Hardware and the settings, etc.
Clearing it will reset it to factory default. There should be a jumper on the board. Normally you power down the machine and move the jumper over 10 seconds and then move it back.

Switch the jumper to the other pin, then move it back to the original setting. Then power on the PC.

Ok, I cleared the CMOS and it seemed to be working again I could access the BIOS. So I put in the Windows XP disc and rebooted then it came up at the bottom of the screen:

Verifying DMI pool data...........

Reboot CMOS..... ok!

And it just stayed like that, so I turned off the computer and booted it up without the Windows XP disc and it just went back to the same old:

Verifying DMI pool data...........

And didn't change.
What should I do now please help!
