k...i've got SBC YAhoo! dsl
i'm using the pci card theyve supplied for me and since yesterday i cannot connect to the internet. i had to unplug everything and put my computer on my desk so the carpet cleaning guy could work. when i unplugged everything back in and tried to connect, it would say something like this

"connecting through WAN Miniport (PPPOE)"

after that, it would just stay like that and keep on redialing with no success. i've already checked all the cables and they all seem fine. i've got a speedstream modem theyve given me and all of the lights on it are green. i've deleted and created the connection more than 5 times and still no luck.

also, i've tried switching around the NIC to different pci slots but no success. and i've never used the onboard NIC function on my nf7 but when i try it doesn't work either (i enabled it when i tried, disabled when not in BIOS).

any suggestions would be great, haven't called sbc yet but would rather not have to come to that.

however
i put in my old NIC from when i had comcast
when iuse this one, it works
apparently both NIC's are the same, but one is 40% smaller than the other and it can connect to the internet....i dunno but it works so yeah.
