When I try to use my headphones and I plug them in , I only get one side of the headphones with sound. If I want to have both sides of the headphones get sound the cord has to be partially disconnected
 
This is usally due to a bad connector on the headphones. Try an adapter, or spinning the connector until it makes both contacts.
