I have a Wireless 2.4ghz 11mpbs 802.11a Netgear MR814 and A Netgear USB Adapter for Wireless Network.. The Pc with the usb adapter isnt get any connection at all, its installed and everything but no icons or anything show up ..
 
Did you check the Control panel/Network Properties, to make sure that your protocols binds and settings are there and configured correctly?
