After I reinstalled my win2k, my CDRW didn't work any more. I tried Nero and EZ CD creator, both didn't work. Nero said, communication error. EZ CD Creator said, ASPI failure.
I have tried everything I know:
DMA is set for the CDRW drive
Reinstall Nero and EZ CD Creator
Reinstall ASPI interface
Install VIA 4-in-1 Driver
Install VIA Bus IDE Master which comes with the Motherboard

Anybody has a clue about this? Since I had this drive, I had been having problems whenever I used it on a machine for the first time. Later, I can get it work. The first time, I forgot the set DMA for it. The second time, EZ CD creator failed, but nero saved me. This time, all failed.
Is this the problem of this drive, or my machine?

Thanks!

Nero and EZ creator don't seem to get along together. Try removing Ez cd creator (it sucks anyway) and just try Nero.

Actually I tried either of them.
I first tried Nero, then uninstalled it.
Then I installed EZCD creator, still didn't work.
