One of the computers at work has stopped working. The PC is an eMachine with a 2.53mhz Celereon D with 256mb of RAM etc etc.

When you push the power button, the PC does not boot, none of the fans turn on. Basically, NOTHING happens when you push the power button. I have already tried a new PSU with no success. There is a LED on the motherboard that is lit when the PC is plugged in.

Any ideas? Is there any troubleshooting I can do to determine the problem? What do you guys suggest?

Thanks in advance for the help!!

There is power coming through...
Swap out a stick of RAM. Recently had a no-boot-no-power issue, and dead RAM turned out to be the problem.

I had a dead power switch issue too. Try shorting the power up pins with a flathead screwdriver, for about one second. BE CAREFUL!!!!

Is it plugged into the wall? Don't get mad! Cleaning crews and whatever may accidentally unplug stuff. Is the switch on the pwer strip or surge protector set to the on position? Is the breaker for that circuit tripped?

Well guys, I swapped in a known good stick of RAM with no luck. I also tried jumping the pins for the power switch on the mobo with the same result.

As I stated before, I get a green LED lit on the mobo when the PSU is plugged in, but nothing...and I mean nothing happens when you press the switch.

Any other ideas?
