Help with Xvid Codec!!

I got some japanese movies from my cousin and I only get sound but not video when I play them. I think they are encoded with Xvid so I downloaded and installed the xvid codecs but I still have the same problem! This is the first time I get a problem like this. What do I need to play the video??

i have GSpot as well and it says the file is fine with the proper codecs installed 😕
