Help with Wireless Desktop Connection

I'm putting togeather a computer for my daughter and will need to get her connected to the Internet. Her computer will be upstairs in her bedroom. I'm just alittle confused on what I should buy.

The Wireless Router (Which is downstairs) is a NetGear MR814v2

I went to Netgears website and they list THIS as being compatable with the router.

But I see THIS on ebay and am wondering if it would be a better buy and if it would work?

Computer-> AMD 500, 380 sdram, 2gig seagate, 64meg nvidia, FIC - PA-2013 MB.

This manual just say's USB no version number but it's probably the first version.

Any Tips?
Thanks

The Ebay card will work fine albeit at 802.11b speeds. You'd need to upgrade your router/AP to get the .11g speeds. Not sure what the heck that USB device is talking about with the suggested retail price of 169 bucks or whatever it is. I bought that very USB client like 3 years ago for 30 or 40 bucks. I'd imagine you could find it less than that now and USB may be a better fit if you have a dificult wireless environment. PCI cards, at least if they don't have a pigtail with the antenna, can suffer from lack of positioning ability. Not to mention that sit but up next to a metal box typically. If coverage isn't an issue for you then that card will work fine for you.
