Help with Windows

I let a friend use my computer and after I got back it no longer has the menu toolbar. I went through folder options and put everything on default and I still cannot find the solution. I know it maybe something easy, so someone point out my stupidity. Thank you for your time.

I can't think of what it would be exactly off the top of my head but chances are hitting "Alt+F" will bring up the file menu and you can go under View and turn the toolbar back on from there.

It did not seem to work. Thank you for trying though. I'm trying to figure out how to get this to work, maybe it's the solution.

try pressing F11 see if it works, i just tried it on mine and it hides the file menu -- i thought that only worked in internet explorer.....

Thanks you. F11 did do the trick. I thought that also only worked on Internet Explorer. My friend must have accidentally pressed it.
