I have the d-link pcmcia card and I was wondering why it does this:

I enter in my ASC II key for my wifi network and it connects and all, as soon as I exit out of the program and go back in it changes it back to HEX. Why does it do this and is there any way to stop it from doing that? I get better rates using ASC II and I want to stay with that anyway, can anyone help me? It does the same thing on my other laptop only that one is built in. I am not connecting through the windows software either, this is straight through the driver software.
