help with updating bios on a P5ND2-SLI deluxe..

i've never updated my bios before, and i see that there is a new version 708, and i was curious as to how to do it (yes, i know, this is such a noob question). and if i update the bios will it eliminate the overclock i have on my processor (a p4660 3.6 @ 4.51 at load, 250.6x4).

After you update the bios it will have to reset the bios to default settings, so you would have to change the settings back to how they were. Is there any particular reason you are updating the bios? It's best not to do so if you don't have to, updated bios is usualy intended to fix problems, if you aren't experiencing any, I wouldn't update the bios. Thats a very nice OC byt the way, what are you using to cool that chip?

the reason i want to update them, is because of an annoying disconnectd ps1/2 mouse error, but i guess i can live with that. i don't feel like re doing it all. hmm. thanks on the oc. i'm using a sanyo deneki liquid cooling system, which is just for the processor. thanks for the advice
