Help with Temps.

Hey folks,

I just replaced my motherboard and now I think my Processor is running hot. I have an i5 3570K with a noctua cooler and I was getting in the 30s for idle temp, but now I'm sitting around 40C. I reseated it and checked to make sure I didn't over goop it with the paste, and it looks good from that point. I'm not sure what else I can do.

Get Arctic Silver the new version.

Clean your VC and wipe away anything there and apply. Move it with hand in latex.

Your temps seem real world to me...!!!

40c is fine. I don't even have my CPU fan kick on until 60c

What are you seeing under load? It could just be the difference in calibrations between your two MB's

Kinda high but not to thermal throttle yet. What CPU cooler are you running? What case is it all in? Do you live where it is hot?
