I just put together my new system. Ecs k7s5a, with athlon xp 1600. All the wires are connected, and when i started it up, nothing. It doesn't even want to try to startup. I would just a get a little keyboard reaction with the lights on the keyboard, but then nothing. It doesn't even go to the bios setup or anything. ANy suggestions on what to do?
Do you think it's the mobo or the memory? The cpu fans funs, the cdrom has power, the hard drives starts up then dies. The monitor lights stays in suspend mode or amber color. THe ram is crucial.

also there's no beep when it starts up.
also, it seems like it's only going to the cdrom, no activity at floppy or hd, just cdrom.
