I have a domain (say, acme.com) and I have configured a default email box (catchall@acme.com) that routes invalid emails to my real address (self@acme.com). I use the catchall feature to create email addresses on the fly when I signup on web sites (lilke asdsd@acme.com).
I have had this setup for the last 6 years and things have been working great. But recently, I noticed that spammers have got hold of my domain name and using it in the "reply-to" field of their spam emails.
As a result, I have started receiving tons of "Invalid Email Address" responses from destinations the spammer is sending it to.
I can configure my email server to trash all emails that cannot be routed to a specific user ... but that would prevent me from receiving even genuine emails that are sent to my domain.
Can anyone help please ?
