Help with some slow loading web pages.

I have a laptop with Radeon X600 graphics and a WUXGA screen, 15.4" 1680 X 1050 and when I load certain websites the background seems to take forever to load. Its usually backgrounds with some type of small pattern. Here is a site that I have problems with www.hardwarezone.com/home/.

Anything I can do to make it better or is it just an LCD, laptop, problem that I have to live with?

I have broadband at 6mbps so speed is not a problem.
