Hey guys I was just wondering if you could help me out with this homework problem.


A. Verify that this circuit realizes the specified Tv(s)

Tv(s) = K((s+2000)/(s+1000))

The circuit looks like this: pictor!
 
This circuit is mainly an algebra simplification problem once you treat the R-C series impedance as a single impedance.
 
You know the basic voltage divider equation right? The one that looks like.

Vout = Vin * R1/(R1+R2)?

But now you have impedances so it's like:

Vout = Vin * Z1/(Z1 + Z2)
